Meadowmont Realty is proud to announce the addition of Laurie Ecker, Realtor, to the agency. Laurie has been a productive member of the Chapel Hill community since relocating here in 1996. She was an active partner at Tereck Office Solutions, from its 1997 inception, to its recent acquisition by Canon USA, a wholly owned subsidiary named Canon Business Solutions-Tereck Inc.
She has raised two children here in Chapel Hill and is very knowledgeable about both our local public and private schools. Additionally, she has much experience in a wide variety of sports organizations available and has been at one time or another a soccer mom, lacrosse mom, swim mom and volleyball mom, for the past 15 tears. Her business and personal relationships provide her with a knowledge base that benefits all her clients, buyers and sellers alike.
She is a graduate of The University of Colorado, Boulder. Though new to being a realtor, she is very knowledgeable of the Chapel Hill real estate market and has personally bought and sold numerous homes. She currently resides in Meadowmont.
As a member of the Chapel Hill Country Club, she has served on several committees and was the Parent Rep for the swim team for three years. She is currently the captain of their Senior 3.0 tennis team and loves being on the courts on her free time. She is also a member of the CTCA and is an authorized Code of Ethics breed for the Coton de Tulear.

Clarence Lupton is known locally as the area expert on the Meadowmont Community and it's homes, neighborhoods,schools, and village activities. With 188 properties sold Clarence is Meadowmont's top-selling real estate agent. His experience as the first Meadowmont sales associate, and multi-million dollar producer, allow him to introduce buyers and sellers to the "quality of life" in Meadowmont and the greater Chapel Hill area. Clarence is the owner and the Broker in Charge of Meadowmont Realty.
Clarence is originally from Edenton, North Carolina, and graduated from Chowan College in Murfreesboro, North Carolina, as well as University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He was Vice President of Operations for two Sea Pines Plantation Company Communities of Hilton Head Island, SC, River Hills Plantation in Clover, South Carolina, and Brandermill in Midlothian, Virginia. In 1980, Clarence began selling real estate in Hilton Head, South Carolina. There he specialized in selling golf course properties and country clubs. Clarence moved to Raleigh in 1995 where he began working with the Bishop Estate in Durham, selling homes and lots in the Treyburn community. Clarence began with Meadowmont in 1999 and the rest is history!
Clarence his wife Ruth, and enjoys spending time with their 3 children and 7 grandchildren. He is a connoisseur of classic automobiles, gourmet cooking, and gardening.
